1. A wind site assessment is highly recommended before any wind turbine installation.
2. The fee for EFG Mechanical Services wind site assessment is $100. (small wind systems only)
3. A fee of $20 per hour travel time will be added to locations further than 175 miles from Abilene, TX.
Travel charge discounts may be applied for long distances. Apply for discounts using the form below in the comments section.
4. The wind site assessment fee is refunded if the site is determined not-feasible for a wind turbine installation.
5. Travel charges are non-refundable.
6. The wind site assessment fee is rebated in full if a wind turbine is installed by EFG on the applicable property.
7. The wind site assessment includes a feasibility report.
8. Satellite imagery will be obtained for the wind site.
9. EFG will contact your electricity provider and local municipalities concerning regulations and agreements.
10. The wind site assessment includes a topographical survey and local wind speed monitoring. These tasks are
not performed on location.
11. Appropriate tower height and tower location will be obtained by the wind site assessment.
12. Complete turbine installation estimates will be available to the customer at the completion of the assessment.
13. The wind site assessment is not a wind site survey. If you are interested in the installation of a utility scale

survey estimate.
14. Pay your wind site assessment fee with Paypal and receive a $25 discount.
